Ezekiel's Call is a Southern Gospel trio based out of Northeast Ohio. They are a Nashville recording artist, and released their first single, "Out of the Grave", to radio in January 2019. The group was formed in 2012 by sisters, Jamie and Jennifer Shaw.
Jamie and Jennifer both grew up singing along side their family's group, The Pearly Gates. The girls have always been told that they were singing before they could even talk. Jamie has memories of her PapPa holding her still as she sang, so she wouldn't wrap herself up in the microphone cord. Jamie and Jennifer, along with their sister Jessica, became lovingly known as "The J Sisters", and would sing their special songs any time The Pearly Gates went out to sing. They were even asked to be the feature group at the Buckeye State Gospel Music Convention!
When Jennifer was 14, she became the lead vocalist for The Pearly Gates. She held the position until she graduated high school, and stepped away to attend college out of state. At that time, Jamie stepped into the lead vocalist position.
The Pearly Gates decided to take a step back from extensive traveling. Jamie and Jennifer still had the desire to travel and sing for the Lord. They started singing on their own, primarily at a local recurring benefit sing. After a little while, they started to receive requests to sing at local churches and events. After much prayer, Ezekiel's Call was formed. Each year, the group has seen growth in the ministry, and continue to expand their territory. They are excited for what the future holds! The goal of Ezekiel's Call is to POINT THE LOST TO THE CROSS THROUGH SONG!
