Rev. Dr. Kay Morris is a multi-faceted persona, functioning in many capacities such as: an Ordained Minister. She is one of the Assistant Pastor's at Light and Life Ministries in Toronto. She holds an Honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree, Master of Divinity Degree and a Bachelor of Theology Degree from the Canadian Bible College and School of Bible Theology Seminary And University of San Jacinto, California. She is an International Evangelist travelling all around the world carrying out the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. She is an accomplished singer/song writer, Fashion Designer, Mentor, Motivational Speaker, Global Humanitarian, and President of the Kay Morris Foundation. Spanning outward from Kay's singing, like that of the growing branch from a thriving tree, is her advocacy work as a "humanitarian". Her journey to becoming a humanitarian started through her music which preceeded her in Africa. She is a World Changer and blazing trail being the Voice of the Voiceless advocating for orphans, people living with HIV/AIDS, maternal health issues, and Malaria prevention in Africa, the Caribbean, South America and other Third World Countries.
In September 2006, through a multi-millionnaire Kay Morris was instrumental in brokering a huge amount of anti-retroviral medicines (ARV's) for people living with HIV/AIDs in Sub-Saharan Africa. The people of Ghana bestowed a great honour for her humanitarian work in Africa by enstooling her Queen Nana Oye Sika I of the Royal House of Berekuso Ghana.

January 2018 during 60th Grammy Awards Weekend in Manatthan NY, Kay Morris made special Red Carpet Guest Appearance at the Round Glass Music Awards and also performed at The Soiree of LA event honoring the legendary Dionne Warwick, held at the BB King in Times Square. In attendance were music industry professionals, Grammy Award Winners, Nominees, and Producers. The greatest highlight of this expereicnce for Kay was having the opportunity to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ into this Grammy platform arena.
October 2017 - Kay Morris was Considered in two categories on the First Round Voting Ballot for Grammy Nominations in the 60th Grammy Awards. She was invited by The Recording Academy to attend the 60th Grammy Awards in New York City.
July 2017- Kay Morris was one of the spotlight guest artists at the GMWA 50th Convention where she performed at Gospel at The Hard Rock Cafe; as well as, she performed one of their major youth events in Atlanta, GA
May 26, 2017 - Kay Morris new album "Hallelujah Train" was digitally launched globally by Groove Gospel (Record Label) in Atlanta, Georgia and opened at #29 on the ITunes Gospel Charts.
Arpil 2017 - Rev. Dr. Kay Morris toured Zimbabwe and carried out a humanitarian mission at the Mahinga Village Orphanage. She also ministered at the AFM International Youth Conference to over 200K youths and adults in attendance.
February 2017 - Dr. Kay Morris received the prestigious Excellence in Religion Award at the African Canadian Achievement Awards, she was selected by the Board to receive this great honor.
January 2017 - Kay Morris signed a recording and distribution deal with Groove Gospel Records label in Atlanta, GA; she also performed on the new TV show MAGNIFY "live" on WATC TV Channel 57 in Atlanta, Georgia.
October 2016 - Dr. Kay Morris received the BEFFTA Global Humanitarian Award in London, UK. Previous recipients of BEFFTA Special honorary awards include Sir Trevor McDonald OBE, Sir Lenny Henry, Omotola Jelade Ekeinde and Quincy Jones. She was also interviewed in London and will be featured in the next issue of Diaspora Lifestyle Magazine.
In June 2016, Dr. Kay Morris was invited to Washington DC as one of the artists to perform at the The White House organized Afro-Caribbean Gospel Music Explosion in celebration of Caribbean Heritage Month in the US. She was also among the list of delegates attending The Third Annual Caribbean & African International Leadership Conference and Awards Gala from June 19th to 24th, 2016 in Washington, DC. Kay was also invited to attended a special White House Reception where she made an appearance with Spiritual Leaders, Nigerian Yoruba King, Ambassadors, and Congressional Leaders. She represented the Kay Morris Foundation and participated in official legislative events at the US Department of State Office of Religious and Global Affairs; she attended Briefing with President Barack Obama's Administration at the White House, as well as, she attended a Forum at the United States Congress on Capital Hilll and later that evening attended the Democratic Congressional Black Caucus Reception Party.
June 2015 - Kay was honored by the Black Canadian Awards - Role Model 2015 and was inducted in the Role Model Wall of Fame - the Former Prime Minister Stephen Harper & the Government of Canada congratulated her for her Diversity advancement achievement.
May 2015 – Kay was selected by Canadian International Black Women Event (CIBWE) as one of the 100 Black Women to Watch in Canada 2015. On behalf of the Jamaica Government, Kay received a congratulatory letter from the Jamaican High Commissioner to Canada acknowledging her outstanding achievements.
April 2015 - Kay Morris was very insturmental in getting The Val Copeland Group and Prayze Factor Awards to collaborate in bringing a major Gospel event Praise On The Beach during Prayze Awards Factor Weekend to her homeland Montego Bay, Jamaica, with world reknown Dr. Bobby Jones of BET as Host; featuring major US Gospel acts such as Byron Cage, Kierra "Kiki" Sheard and many more. The event was endorsed by the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB). Kay Morris is the International Liaison for the Atlanta based Prayze Factor People's Choice Awards.
In 2012, Kay Morris (Kay Morris Foundation) was invited to be a delegate representative at the World Bank Annual Meeting Civil Society Policy Forum in Tokyo, Japan where she participated in various panel discussions about poverty and health issues in Africa.
